MKS Finance SA - Geneva Wednesday, 28-February-2007 Following Tuesday’s close of around $684.50 levels gold wasaggressively sold down. The market got very choppy and volatile and wasshort of liquidity. With stops hit on the way spot plunged to $659.50 inonly a couple of hours.

MKS Finance SA - Geneva Monday, 26-February-2007 It was an extremely quiet start of the week. Gold was bid in Asiawith prices on Tocom reaching $687.60 on aggressive buying. The cash marketwas however fairly well offered and the metal retreated over a dollar fromthe peak by the Far East close. In Europe spot drifted lower, but foundsupport below $684.

El Precio del Oro sorprende al mercado con una fuerte subida

MKS Finance SA - Geneva Thursday, 22-February-2007 Having reached a nine-month high in NY yesterday gold weakenedfollowing the FOMC minutes. Federal Reserve policy makers were stated inminutes of FOMC meeting of January 30-31 as saying that “economic growthhad slowed over the course of the year, partly reflecting a substantialcooling of the housing market” and that the economy seemed likely to expandat a moderate pace over coming quarters.

MKS Finance SA - Geneva Tuesday, 20-February-2007 The market remained thin overnight due to Hong Kong still being onholiday. Japanese were on the sell side on the opening of Tocom, but goldmanaged to hold above the $670 support level. Subsequently overseas traderspushed the prices two dollars higher as the euro currency firmed. Thesettlement of just above $671 in Asia marked our time zone’s high.

Market was thin due topublic holidays in China and the US, but general public was a buyer withall the offers being absorbed. The yellow metal gradually drifted higher tohit $673 per ounce where buying dried up and settled on the peak. Asianclosing price marked our time zone’s high, as the metal did not try tochallenge the upside again.
