MKS Finance SA - Geneva Friday, 29-September-2006 Gold dropped four dollars after the close of the NY session lastnight, due to the emerged heavy selling on access. The yellow metalchallenged the $600 support level on Tocom to hit the low of $599.75 wherephysical demand and buying from the general public helped the prices torecover. Short covering propelled spot up to $603.50, but as the buying ranout of steam the metal slipped a dollar into the Asian close.

MKS Finance SA - Geneva Thursday, 28-September-2006Gold rallied on access after Comex close last night, as crude jumpedmore than two dollars restoring the metal’s role as a hedge againstinflation. The precious metal opened five dollars higher on Tocom andreached a peak of $604. General public liquidation had however capped themarket forcing the prices to retreat to $601.50 and closed the Far Eastsession on the lows.

El mundo no necesita bancos centrales

Así era cuando circulaban las monedas de plata y de oro. El rey era el único emisor. Para algunos, eso formaba parte de la esencia de la soberanía. Para otros era una manera fabulosa de cobrar impuestos. Pero si estudiamos la materia, concluimos que no necesitamos los bancos centrales. Abolir este monopolio estatal abre nuevos horizontes al comercio y nos cura para siempre de la terrible enfermedad de recurrentes depresiones y desempleo, de lo que suelen acusar al “capitalismo”, pero que son en realidad causados por ineptitud y equivocaciones del banco central, El monopolio estatal sobre el dinero le permite al gobierno no tener que limitar sus gastos a sus ingresos. El crecimiento espectacular del control estatal sobre la economía sería mucho más difícil sin tener el control absoluto de la emisión de dinero. Y que hayamos dado esa responsabilidad a los políticos es insólito por tratarse de un grupo de gente abierto a las tentaciones y a la falta de integridad.

Despite the absence of fund selling, oil weakness weighed on theyellow metal. Subsequently the shorts were forced to cover and spot hit thepeak of $589.80.The precious metal ended the Far East trading session onthe highs.

MKS Finance SA - Geneva Thursday, 21-September-2006 Gold continued its way on the downside after the US Federal Reserveheld its benchmark interest rate steady on Wednesday, as the market reactedwith the US dollar edging higher and Brent “LCOc1”plunging down to $60.38per barrel. The FOMC felt that the moderation in economic growth appearsto be continuing, partly reflecting a cooling of the housing market.

A este acontecimiento, el más importante económicamente hablando del siglo, se le dedica poca atención, pasa inadvertido y en nuestra elites económicas el hecho y sus importantísimas consecuencias pasa como si no hubiera existido.

Inthe absence of any follow through the metal remained around $586ish levelfor the entire Far East session. In Europe the yellow metal was limited to$587 on the upside from where it drifted lower.

The metal hit thehigh of $584.50 where it encountered some profit taking forcing it toretreat down to $580.50. Physical demand emerging on the dip helped themarket to recover and open the European session around $583.50-584 levels.
