MKS Finance SA - Geneva Tuesday, 31-October-2006 Gold opened lower in Asia after a seven-week high of $610.5 reachedMonday. From $604 opening levels the metal gradually drifted lower, asgeneral public was taking profits. A firm support was however found nearthe 600 dollar mark. In Europe the yellow metal slipped towards the FarEast lows again as oil prices held below $60 per barrel, to fix at $600.90on the first London fixing, down 3.85 dollars compared the previous AM.

MKS Finance SA - Geneva Monday, 30-October-2006 With Hong Kong being on Holiday, the market was very thin in Asia. Gold opened just below the 600 dollar mark on Tocom and helped by the buying from the general pubic traded to the high of $603.7. In Europe the Far East peak was extended to $610 from where the prices lost some ground, to fix at $608.50 on the second London fix.

MKS Finance SA - Geneva Friday, 27-October-2006 Gold opened slightly lower on Tocom compared to the NY close of$597.25 Thursday. The market remained very quiet with the upside beinglimited to $596 and the downside to $595. During the early European tradingthe yellow metal revisited the Asian highs, but fixed lower, at $593.75 onthe first London fixing.

MKS Finance SA - Geneva Monday, 23-October-2006After a close above $593 level on Friday, gold was sold down onaccess, to opened more than three dollars lower in Asia. Buying on Tocompushed the metal up to $592.50, but in the absence of any follow through itremained hovering within a one dollar range. In Europe the yellow metalopened around $592 levels, which marked the high for our time zone as soonas from there the prices started their gradual descent.

MKS Finance SA - Geneva Friday, 20-October-2006 Gold opened above $600 level on Tocom, with good selling interestpushing it down to $599.80. Sellers turned into buyers on the lows, but dueto the absence of any follow through the metal was limited to $600.50 onthe upside. In Europe spot reached the high of $602.50 as oil steadiedafter OPEC agreed to cut output by more than expected. Group’s ministersagreed to cut by 1.2 million bpd instead of 1 million from the first ofNovember.
